Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (As on 13.11.2025)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. rules

Educational Qualification

Junior Hindi Translator (JHT):

• Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory subject
  OR
• Master’s in any subject with Hindi/English as medium and one as a compulsory subject
  AND
• Recognised diploma/certificate in translation OR 2 years’ translation experience in Govt. departments

Junior Stenographer (JST):

• 10+2 (12th pass) or equivalent
• Proficiency in stenography as per DoPT norms
