The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, has released the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE)-2025 notification. This recruitment drive aims to fill 5647 teaching posts across India in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS).
The posts include Principal, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions. Candidates with Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees and B.Ed. qualifications are eligible to apply. The online application process started on 19th September 2025 and will remain open until 23rd October 2025 (11:50 PM).

Selection Process
The EMRS Teaching Recruitment 2025 selection will consist of the following stages:
Tier-I: Preliminary (Qualifying) – OMR-based Objective Test
Tier-II: Main Exam – Objective + Descriptive
Tier-III: Interview (Only for Principal, 20% Weightage)
