Parents and teachers need to have an integrated mission : education with a good value system at home and in school. Ectucation is fundamental to building the nation of our dreams. All our aspirations as a society are tied to the capabilities of our youngsters, who form such a large part of our population.
A child's individuality and creativity need to be given due importance in our education. The curriculum needs to be innovative and the examination system overhauled so that it recognizes and evaluates creativity and new thinking rather than the memorization of facts.
