Solution:Total amount spend by the man is=15 × 120+13 × 110+12 × 130=4790
Total item brought by the man is=15+13+12=40
So average cost of the item is=4790/40=119.75

Correct Answer: (c) 25.5
Solution:Total sum of ten numbers is =30 × 10=300
Now 15 and 23 wrongly taken as 51 and 32
So total sum is now =300-51-32+15+23=255
So new average is =255/10=25.5

Correct Answer: (a) 37
Solution:Let seven consecutive number is X, X+1,X+2,X+3,X+4,X+5,X+6
So according to the question,
X+X+1+X+2+X+3+X+4+X+5+X+6=34 × 7=238
7X=238-21=217
X=217/7=31
So largest number is=31+6=37

So number of student in X and Z department is
=100 - a

So according to the question,
82a+(100-a) × 83=8270
-a=30 or a=30
So number of student in Y is 30.

Solution:Total sum of 1st,2nd and 3rd is=20 × 3=60
Total sum of 2nd,3rd and 4th is=25 × 3=75
4th number is 25 so 2nd +3rd=50

Sum of first 12 results is=12 × 15=180
Sum of last 12 results is=12 × 18=216
So 13th result is=500-180-216=104
