Solution:Abbas Taiyyabji led the Movement after Gandhi got arrested at Sholapur. Women also played an important role in this Movement. Dandi March or Salt Satyagraha was a major nonviolent protest action in India led by Mahatma Gandhi in March-April 1930. Starting from Sabarmati Ashram on 12th March 1930 till Dandi, a coastal village in Gujarat, to break the salt law by producing salt from seawater. Sarojini Naidu joined him on the way. Every day more and more people joined him and on 5th April 1930, they reached Dandi. Around 60,000 people including Gandhiji himself were arrested by the government. Gandhi and other leaders had made arrangements for the continuation of the agitation if they were arrested. A chain of leaders had been chosen, so that as each leader was arrested another would be ready to take his place. On April 6, the atmosphere at Dandi was both tense and solemn. Gandhiji then nominated Shri Abbas Tyabji, and after him, Smt. Sarojni Naidu, to lead the satyagraha if he was arrested.
