The term 3D printing covers a variety of processes in which material is joined or solidified under computer control to create three-dimensional objects, with materials being added together, typically layer by layer. The 3D printing is used in the preparation of confectionery items, manufacturing of bionic ears, automotive industry, reconstructive surgeries, and data processing technologies.

E-governance, meaning 'electronic governance,' is using information and communication technologies (ICTs) (such as Wide Area Networks, the Internet, and mobile computing) at various levels of government and the public sector, and beyond, for the purpose of enhancing governance.

The use of computers in governance for delivering government services is known as E-Governance.
