• The signal used to produce the sound that comes from a computer speaker is created by the computer's sound card.

• It translates the physical movement of the user's hand into electrical signals that the computer can understand.  
• Joysticks are primarily used for controlling movement in video games, but they also have applications in other areas like industrial control, robotics, and even aerospace. 

• It involves printing specific characters using a special magnetic ink that can be read accurately by both humans and specialized machines called MICR readers.

A plotter is an output device of a computer.

It's used to produce hard copies of vector graphics, drawings, and technical illustrations. Unlike standard printers that use dots to form images, plotters use pens, pencils, markers, or other drawing tools to draw continuous lines.

• It can accept computer generated results in a machine-readable form and display them on physical forms such as paper or transparent films.

Examples of input devices include keyboards, mouse, scanners, cameras, joysticks, and microphones.

• It's a pointing device that translates physical movement into signals that control the movement of a cursor or other on-screen objects.

• These are hardware components that allow a user to interact with a computer and provide it with information.
•  Examples include keyboards, mice, scanners, touch screens, and microphones. 

On a computer keyboard, the Shift and Alt keys are examples of modifier keys.

• Modifier keys are special keys that modify the function of other keys when pressed in combination with them.
• They are rarely used alone to perform a primary action but instead alter the output or behavior of another key press.
