'Rangoli Bihu', one of the major festivals of Assam, is celebrated in April.

Elelakkaradi' is a tribal dance form of the Indian state of Kerala. It is a traditional dance form performed by the tribal communities of Wayanad district in Kerala, which is located in the Western Ghats.

'Dandiya Raas' is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat and Rajasthan and is associated with scenes of 'Holi" and "Lila" of Krishna and Radha at Vrindavan. Along with "Garba', it is the featured dance of 'Navaratri evenings in Western India. Sanskrit terms "Nava" (which means "Nine") and "Rath" (which means nights) are used to celebrate the Hindu deity Shakti, which means Strength or Power. With the help of Dandiya Raas, the nine manifestations of Shakti/Devi are worshiped. This traditional dance depicts a fictitious conflict between Mahishasura and Goddess Durga.

Mohiniyattam, is an Indian classical dance form that developed and remained popular in the state of Kerala.

Mohini attam, (Malayalam: "dance of the enchantress") also spelled mohiniattam or mohiniyattam, semi classical dance form from the state of Kerala, southwestern India. The dance is performed by women in honour of the Hindu god Vishnu in his incarnation as the enchantress Mohini.

The Puli Kali style of folk art, dance, music and drama tells the story of the tiger hunt during the Onam festival in Kerala.

Kalaripayattu is a famous Indian martial art from the land of attraction Kerala, and one of the oldest fighting systems in it is practised in most parts of south India.

'Vallam Kali' (Boat Game) is a traditional boat race in Kerala. It is mainly held in spring during the harvest festival Onam season.

This boat race is conducted during the festival of Onam, the Annual Harvest Festival of Kerala. Therefore, the best time to visit Kerala to enjoy this Snake Boat Race is from August to October.

Kathak is a classical dance form that originated in Northern India of Uttar Pradesh referred to as Kathakars or storytellers for portraying epic tales from Hindu scriptures, Mahabharata and Ramayana. The Kathakars communicate stories through rhythmic foot movements, hand gestures, facial expressions, and eye work.
