Kayakalp is an initiative launched in India with the plan to inculcate hygiene, sanitation, effective waste management and infection control in public health facilities. Recently the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare conferred the 5th National Kayakalp awards to Public and Private Health Facilities for high standards of Sanitation and Hygiene. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare inaugurated the 5th National Kayakalp Awards along with Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey through a video conference.

The minimum and maximum amount that can be invested towards the Pradhan Mantri Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana are Rs. 250 and Rs.1.5 lakh, respectively. Earlier, the minimum contribution was Rs.1,000. However, the Indian Government reduced the minimum contribution to Rs. 250 in July 2018.

The 'Pradhan Mantri Sukanya Samridhi Yojana' was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22 January 2015 in Panipat, Haryana. The accounts can be opened at any India Post office or a branch of some authorized commercial banks.

The 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' scheme was launched on 22 January 2015 in Panipat, Haryana. The scheme is being implemented by three ministries, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Women and Child Development and Ministry of Human Resource Development.

People working in the unorganized sector (unorganized sector workers) are the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana. On March 5, 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this scheme in Vastral, Gujarat. Under this scheme, a monthly pension of Rs 3,000 will be provided to the workers of the unorganized sector during their old age.

'Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana' was launched on 18 February 2016. Both Rabi and Kharif crops have been included in this scheme. Under this scheme, the maximum premium payable by farmers will be 2 percent for Kharif and 1.5 percent annually for Rabi crops and 5 percent annually for commercial or horticultural crops.

Per Drop More Crop is a key component of 'Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY). To en-hance the adoption of precision irrigation and other water-saving technologies, Per Drop More Crop has been adopted. PMKSY is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme on Micro Irrigation (CSS), first launched in January 2006.

Kisan Fasal Rahat Yojana, which will replace (PM. FBY) Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, has been launched by the Jharkhand state government in December 2020.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin aims to provide housing for all by the year 2022. This scheme was launched in November 2016.
