Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) was launched on October 11, 2014, on the birthday of Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan. It is clear that 'A' in SAGY stands for - Adarsh.

The 'Kutir Jyoti Yojana' started in the year 1988-89 is related to providing electricity facilities to families living below the poverty line in rural areas.

A massive employment-cum-rural public works campaign named Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan (GKRA) was launched by the Government of India in June 2020 to empower migrant workers and provide them with livelihood opportunities.

Jal Jeevan Mission in India was launched in the year 2019 with an aim to provide drinking water through its scheme of functional household tap connections. Under this mission, a target has been set to provide a tap water connection to every rural household in the country by the year 2024.

Jal Jeevan's mission is to provide safe and adequate drinking water to all households in rural India through individual household taps by 2024. The program also implements source sustainability initiatives such as reuse and recycling through greywater management, water conservation, rainwater harvesting as compelling factors. Jal Jeevan mission is based on community access to water and includes broad outreach, education and communication as the core of the mission. It is a flagship project of the Government of India which was launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 15th August 2019.

In October 2020, the Haryana government launched a mobile water testing laboratory under the Jal Jeevan Mission programme. It is fully equipped with a multi-parameter system that includes analyzers, sensors, sensors and devices for evaluating water quality

Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Trans-formation (AMRUT) is a scheme launched by the Government of India (GOI) with an aim to build basic civil amenities in towns and cities.

The 'SAKSHAM' campaign launched by the Government of India in January 2021 aims to spread awareness about the adoption of cleaner fuels. The month-long campaign highlights the adverse health and environmental impacts of increasing carbon footprints.

The Odisha government launched the 'Sujal- Drink From Tap Mission' on October 13, 2020, to supply tap drinking water throughout the state. With the program, Odisha became the first state in India to implement a scheme of providing water fit for direct consumption in urban areas.

"Urja Ganga" gas pipeline project was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October, 2016 in his constituency Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It is a 2540km long pipeline that is planned to be laid as it is supposed to provide piped cooking gas to the households of Varanasi within next two years and to other neighboring states after one more year.
