Solution:Training of Rural Youth for Self Employment (TRYSEM) was launched in August, 1979 as a supplementry component of Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP). It was merged in Swarnajayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojana (SJGSY) in April, 1999.Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) was a rural development program in India launched in April 1999. It aimed to bring families above the poverty line by providing them with income-generating assets through a combination of bank credit and government subsidies.
SGSY focused on organizing the rural poor into Self-Help Groups (SHGs), providing them with training, credit, technology, infrastructure, and marketing support. SGSY was later restructured and renamed as the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), and subsequently as Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana -National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).
