Solution:BREXIT is the popular term for the prospective withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from European Union (EU). In a referendum held on 23rd June, 2016, 51.9% of the participating UK electrorate voted to leave the EU.
UK left the EU at 11 pm GMT on 31st January, 2020. This began a transition period that is set to end on 31st December, 2020, during which the UK and EU will negotiate their future relationship.
