Blue Bird Lake is a resident and endangered migratory bird wetland habitat, lake and recreation area in the town of Hisar.
● The lake is also leased out for the commercial fisheries by Fisheries Department of Government of Haryana.

Most of the year, the climate of Haryana is of a pronounced continental character, very hot in summer and markedly cold in winter.
● The climate of the state of Haryana is continental, sub-tropical, semiarid to sub-humid, and monsoon type. It is very hot in summers and cold in winters.
● The average rainfall that it receives is 560 mm which varies from less than 300mm in south-western parts to over 1000 mm in the hilly tracks of Shivalik hills.

Black Francolin (Francolinusfrancolinus), sometimes known as Black Partridge, is a widespread breeding resident in most of north and central India.
● It is the state bird of Haryana.
● Called Kala Teetar in Hindi, this handsome stub-tailed game bird is found near cultivation and scrub, bordering wetlands.

Jind city is known as the "Heart of Haryana".
● Jind was named Jayantapura after the lord of victory Jayant (Indra), whom Pandavas worshipped before the Mahabharata war.
● The fort of Jind was built by Sidhu Jat ruler Maharaja Gajpat Singh in 1776 AD.

The Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar, presented the Budget for the state for the financial year 2022-23 on March 8, 2022.
● Haryana has allocated 14.2% of its total expenditure for education in 2022-23. This is lower than the average allocation (15.2%) for education by all states (as per 2021-22 Budget Estimates).
● Rs. 500 crore has been allocated to Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan.
● Rs. 321 crore has been allocated to Mid-Day Meals Scheme.

As per Economic Survey of Haryana, the total number of electricity consumers in the State has increased from 35,44,380 in 2001-02 to 73,07,992 in 2021-22 (upto November, 2021).

At present, there are 23 District level Treasuries and 82 Sub-Treasuries in the State.
● They maintain the accounts of all receipts and payments relating to the consolidated funds and public accounts of the State and render accounts to the Principal Accountant

‘Mhara Gaon Jagmag Gaon’ scheme was launched on 1 July 2015 to provide uninterrupted power supply to electricity to all the villages.
● This scheme aims at providing 24-hour uninterrupted power supply to the villagers.
● Under the Mbara Gaon Jagmag Gaon Scheme, around 80% villages (5,600) of the state are getting 24-hour power supply.

The National Beekeeping and Honey Mission was announced by the Union Government as part of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat package in 2020.
● The scheme is under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare.
● The scheme is implemented by the National Bee Board (NBB) and is approved for three years from 2020 to 2023.
