Solution:

Given
Average of 11 results = 50
∴ 11 × 50 = 550
Average of first 6 results = 49
∴ 6 × 49 = 294 ........(i)
Average of last 6 result = 52
∴ 6 × 52 = 312 ........(ii)
Adding eq (1) & (2)
294 + 312 = 606
∴ 6th result = 606 - 550
= 56
