Raja Ravi Varma was a famous Indian painter, who is counted among the greatest painters in the history of Indian art.

He was born on 29 April 1848 in Kilimanur, Kerala.

He is known for his Western-style oil paintings and mythological themes, and is often referred to as the "Father of Modern Indian Art."

Bhimrao Ambedkar was independent India's first law minister and constitutionalist, politician, and social reformer. He campaigned against social discrimination against Dalits.

Operation Polo was a covert operation conducted by the Indian Army in the year 1948.

Under this operation, Osman Ali Khan, the last Nizam of Hyderabad was deposed from power, and Hyderabad was made a part of India.
