Solution:More than 1.15 crore documents were leaked by Panama-based Law firm 'Mossack Fonseca' which operates in 35 countries of the world as a financial advisory body. These documents contain the intelligence of 2.14 lakh foreign companies whose jurisdiction is in 21 countries.These documents contain information about investments made in the countries of Panama, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas etc. between 1977 and 2015.
These documents were obtained by the German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung and it is shared with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). 370 journalists (including Indians) from 107 media houses around the world revealed the method of legalizing black money and the names of black money holders after analysis.
One of which was also the name of Iceland's Prime Minister Sigmudur David Gunnlaugsson. Due to this, he resigned from the post of Prime Minister.
