TB or Tuberculosis was called “the white plague” due to the paleness of the patients. TB was commonly called “consumption” in the 1800s even after Schonlein named it tuberculosis. During this time, TB was also called the “Captain of all these men of death.”

Tooth decay is a diet-related disease. It is caused by the bacteria in your mouth turning sugar into energy and producing acid that damages the teeth. Tooth decay can start as a white or dark spot on your tooth and develop into a hole. The saliva in your mouth helps protect against tooth decay and can repair tooth decay in its early stages.

Zika is a viral disease that is transmitted to humans by mosquitoes. The Zika virus is mainly caused by a virus transmitted by the Aedes mosquito. Symptoms of Zika virus disease are similar to those of other viral infections such as dengue and include fever, skin rash, conjunctivitis, muscle and joint pain, malaise, and headache, which named after the Jika forest of Uganda. This viral disease was first identified in monkeys in Uganda in 1947. It was later identified in humans in 1952 in Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania.
