• Dambe is a traditional form of martial arts and boxing originating from the Hausa people of West Africa, primarily Nigeria.
• It is often referred to as Hausa boxing or traditional Hausa boxing.
• Dambe combines boxing, wrestling, and kicking techniques, but it mainly focuses on a unique style of punching.

• He formulated geological principles based on his observations of rocks.
• The word geology means 'Study of the Earth'.
• Also known as geoscience or earth science, Geology is the primary Earth science and looks at how the earth formed its structure and composition and the types of processes acting on it.

All processes that move, elevate or build up portions of the earth's crust comes under diastrophism.

Types of Diastrophism:
There are two main types based on the nature of crustal movements:

• Folding: The bending or curving of rock layers due to compressional forces.
• Faulting: The fracturing and displacement of rock layers when the stress exceeds the strength of rocks.

The deep and narrow valley is called a canyon, which has steep walls created by weathering and erosion by rivers, wind, rain and tectonic activity.
