If the male population above poverty line for State R is 1.9 million, then what is the total population of State R?

Correct Answer: (d) 6.25 million
Solution:Total population of state R = x millions (let).

∴ Population above poverty line = 76x/100 = 19x/25 million

Male population above poverty line

= 2/5 × (19x)/25 = (38x)/125

millions ∴ (38x)/125 = 1.9 millions

⇒ x = (1.9 × 125)/38 = 6.25 millions

22. What will be the number of females above poverty line in the State S if it is known that the population of State S is 7 million?

Correct Answer: (b) 2.13 million
Solution:Population of state S = 7 millions

Population above poverty line = (7 × 71)/100 = 4.97 millions

∴ Number of females = (3/7 × 4.97) millions

= 2.13 millions

23. At what time between 3 to 4 O'clock minute and hour hand are opposite to each other?

Correct Answer: (c) 3 : 49 1/11
Solution:By Unique Formula

H = 3, Angle = 180°

Note: Hands are opposite means 180°

3 : 5 (3 × 5 ± 180) × 12/11

3 : (15 ± 30) × 12/11

3 : (15 + 30) × 12/11, 3 : (15 - 30) × 12/11

3 : (45) × 12/11,  3 : (-15) × 12/11

3 : 540/11, 3 : (-180º)/11 × 12/11

Angle = 180° = 3 : 49 1/11

24. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 have written on surface of dice. Four forms of dice shown below. In this dice which digit will be on the surface opposite to the digit 3?

Correct Answer: (c) 6
Solution:From figure (ii) and (iii)

1 will be opposite of 4

2 will be opposite of 5

3 will be opposite of 6 missing number

25. A man walks 12 m east from point A and reaches point B. From point B he takes left turn and walks 4m and then he takes right turn and walked 6m and again he takes right turn and walks 7m and again takes right turn and reaches point M. If it is given that point B is in north from point M, then what is the distance between B and M?

Correct Answer: (e) 3m
Solution:

The distance between B and M = 7 - 4 = 3m
