• The phenomenon being represented must be quantitative continuous field.
• It uses the intervals in arithmetic progression

• Tall Buildings are for apart in higher latitude because higher latitude receives less insolation in comparison to lower latitude. So, they (Tall buildings) try to get as much as possible insolation they can get to prevent themselves from cold. While Buildings are much closer in lower/attitude because of to prevent themselves from excessive heating due to sun direct radiation during summers.
