Solution:Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India has a maximum strength of 552 fixed by the Constitution of India. Out of these, 545 seats are currently occupied in Lok Sabha, 543 by direct election while the two members of Anglo-Indian Community are nominated by the President of India.The 104th amendment Act 2020 Extended the period of reservation of seats SCs and STs in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies from Seventy years to Eighty. It also abolished the provision of nominating Anglo-Indian community members for the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.
Earlier, the President also nominated two members from the Anglo-Indian
community, but by the 95th Amendment Act, 2009, this provision was valid till 2020
only
