• The scattering of light depends on the wavelength of the light.

• Therefore, it can be said that the degree of deviation is dependent on the wavelengths.

• The deviation in the path of the light is inversely proportional to the wavelength.

• The electric motor works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, which is when a voltage is induced by a changing magnetic field.

• Electric motors are used in electric fans, pumps etc.

• Hence, more the wavelength, lesser will be the refractive index.

• So, the arrangement of colors arranged in the increasing order of their refractive indices will be Red Orange < Yellow <Green < Blue < Indigo < Violet.

• Parallel rays will diverge from a virtual point behind the mirror one focal length away.

• P is the power delivered by a circuit is the rate of energy transfer (J/s) and is measured in watts (W).
