The Frank Worrell Trophy is awarded to the winner of the West Indies–Australia Test match series in cricket.

• The trophy is named after Frank Worrell who was the first black captain of the West Indies.
• It was first awarded at the end of the 1960–61 series in Australia, the first Test of which ended in a tie.

The 2020 Summer Olympics will be the second time that Tokyo has hosted the Summer Olympic Games, the first being in 1964, making it the first city in Asia to host the summer Games twice.

•  Overall, these will be the fourth Olympic Games to be held in Japan, which also hosted the Winter Olympics in 1972 (Sapporo) and 1998 (Nagano).

The 46th G7 summit will be held June 10 through June 12, 2020 in the United States while it holds the presidency of the G7.

•  This is the first G7 summit to be held at Camp David, a summit was previously held at Camp David in 2012 for the G8.
• The attendees will include the leaders of the seven G7 member states as well as representatives of the European Union.

According to the RBI Annual Report, released in August 2019, early recognition and resolution of stressed assets have helped banks contain their gross non-performing loans ratio at 9.1 percent in FY19 down from 11.2 percent in FY18.

• The report noted that fresh slippages also came down and as a result, the system-level provision coverage ratio jumped to 60.9 percent during the period.

The Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is situated in Darjeeling in West Bengal.

• At an average elevation of 7,000 feet, it is the largest high altitude zoo in India.
• It specializes in breeding animals adapt ed to alpine conditions, and has successful captive breeding programs for the snow leopard, the critically endangered Himalayan wolf and the red panda.

The Gloria Church is one of the oldest Roman Catholic church sites in Mumbai.

•  It was built in 1911-13. Its predecessor was built by the Portuguese Franciscans in 1632.
•  Along with two other Mumbai sites of Flora Fountain, and Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue, Gloria Church won the 2019 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation in October 2019.

Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme–DHRUV is a 14 day learning programme launched on October 10, 2019 from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) headquarters in Bengaluru.

• The programme was launched by Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ in presence of Dr. K Sivan, Chairman, ISRO, Wing Cdr. Rakesh Sharma, AC (Retd.) and others.

The 2019 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine was in October 2019 awarded to scientists William G Kaelin, Jr, Peter J Ratcliffe and Gregg L Semenza for their discoveries of “how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability.”

• The discoveries made by the three men have fundamental importance for physiology and have paved the way for promising new strategies to fight anemia, cancer and many other diseases.

The International Criminal Police Organization, more commonly known as INTERPOL, is headquartered at Lyon, France.

• It is an international organization that facilitates worldwide police cooperation and crime control.
•  It was founded in 1923 as the International Criminal Police Commission (ICPC).
•  The name INTERPOL served as the agency’s telegraphic address in 1946, and was chosen as its common name in 1956.
