Solution:Peter Mundy was a 17ᵗʰ century British traveller who came to India during the Mughal rule (Shahjahan).He was associated with the Mughal Court as a physician to Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Emperor Shah Jahan. Mundy's travels are documented in his journals, which are held in the British Library and the Bodleian Library. He Wrote about the caste system, the Vijayanagara Empire, and the economic and cultural importance of Calicut, Cochin, and Goa. He Described the Banjaras, a group of merchants who bought grain in cheap places and sold it in expensive places.
- Albuquerque was the first Portuguese viceroy in India. He was aided by Krishnadev Raya, the ruler of the Vijaynagar empire. Albuquerque was also helped by Timoji, a Hindu bandit chief who suggested attacking Goa while the Sultan was distracted by a rebellion. Albuquerque recognized that Goa would be a good base for Portugal's navy and commerce in the Indian Ocean. Goa became the capital of Portuguese India and the center of Portuguese power in India. Albuquerque also founded the Royal Hospital of Goa.
