Carbohydrate classification
• Ribose is an aldehyde derivative 5 carbon containing monosaccharide.
• Sucrose is a disaccharide which on hydrolysis yield two moles of glucose.
• Inulin is a small polysaccharide
• Maltriose is an oligosaccharide consisting of three glucose molecules.
• Ribulose is an ketose derivative 5 carbon containing monosaccharide.

Salter scale, body composition analyser and precision calliper are the equipment commonly used in nutritional anthropometry.
Salter Scale :- It is a weighing sling used for measuring the weight of children under two year old.
Body Composition Analyzer :- Body composition analysis is a physical test that measures the proportion of the various components like water, protein, fat and minerals of human body. Body composition analyzer analyse patient health and fitness status.
Precision Calliper:- Precision skinfold thickness callipers are used to measure the double fold of skin and subcutaneous fat to the nearest milimeter.

Hyperglycemia refers to a condition in which an excessive amount of glucose circulates in the blood plasma Hyperglycemia may be caused by too little insulin, insulin resistance and increased food intake.

Grilling, Roasting and Baking is dry heat method of cooking in which air is used as medium of cooking. Sautéing is also dry heat method of cooking but the medium of cooking is oil. Stewing is a moist heat method of cooking.

Face plate and presser foot are not part of the bed of sewing machine.
Face plate : Face plate is a cover that encloses the oiling points of the needle bar, presser bar and take up lever.
Presser Foot : It is fixed to the presser bar to hold the cloth firmly in position while stitching.

Transfer printing in textile usually done by the means the sublimation of thermally stable dyes from a coloured design on paper at high temperature followed by absorption of the dye vapors by synthetic fibers in the fabric. Important features of transfer printing are

• The process of transfer printing is highly efficient.
• The prints are of good clarity and design.
• It uses and pollutes less water than other printing method.

Permanent hardness in water is due to presence of magnesium chloride, calcium nitrate and calcium sulphate. Temporary hardness of water is due to bicarbonates of calcium and magnesium.
