In an early morning of one fine day, two vehicles collided on an intersection of two roads. The incident caused death of a person sitting on the back seat of vehicle, Say vehicle-I.
Driver of the another vehicle, say vehicle-II, ran away from the scene and the incident was reported to police by the driver of vehicle-I. On investigation, vehicle-II was recovered by the police. For further investigation, a forensic expert was called.
On examination of the scene, a skid mark of length 2L metre was found by vehicle-II.
However, vehicle-I has left a curved scuff mark of radius 60 metres. Paint samples, which was mutually transferred to the vehicles were also collected.
On examination of vehicle-I, few hair sample and blood spot was also found. Blood spot was circular in shape with diameter 15 mm. Microscopic examination of hair revealed diameter of medulla and hair shaft as 2 µm and 6 µm respectively.
