Solution:After the Battle of Plassey, Mir Jafar's son Miran assassinated Siraj-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Bengal. Mir Jafar was known as "Colonel Clive's Jackal" because he could not make any decision without Clive. J.Z. Hallwell, an eyewitness to the Black Hole incident, gave the number of victims but did not name them. Later, the Battle of Buxar was fought, in which the combined forces of Bengal, Awadh, and Delhi faced Munro's British army.
