Weathering is the breaking down or dissolving of rocks and minerals on Earths surface. Once a rock has been broken down, a process called erosion transports the bits of rock and minerals away.

Metamorphosis is a biological process by which an animal physically develops including birth transformation or hatching, involving a conspicuous and relatively abrupt change in the animal's body structure through cell growth and differentiation.

The process of particles settling to the bottom of a body of water is called sedimentation. In lakes and rivers, sedimentation can sometimes cause problems for the organisms living there.

• The processes which occur on the earth's surface due to the influence of exogenic forces are known as exogenic processes.
• It occurs at or near the earth's surface that makes the surface wear away.
• Exogenic processes are destructive in nature and are responsible for the degradation and sculpting of the earth's surface.

• This is based on seismological evidence and studies of the Earth's magnetic field.
• The outer core is a liquid layer, while the inner core is a solid sphere, and both are primarily composed of iron and nickel, along with smaller amounts of other elements such as sulfur and oxygen.
• The extreme heat and pressure in the core of the Earth prevent the iron and nickel from melting or vaporizing, allowing them to exist in a solid or liquid state depending on the depth and conditions.
