• Justice Bobde nominated Justice N.V.Ramana, the next in seniority, and Justice Indira Banerjee to the in-house panel that will examine the veracity of the allegations.

• It shall be responsible for implementation of GAGANYAAN Project which involves end-to-end mission planning, development of Engineering systems for crew survival in space, crew selection & training and also pursue activities for sustained human space flight missions.

• Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2.0 launched in 2019, aims to achieve at least 90% pan-India immunisation coverage by 2022.

Objectives:

• To cater to the primary need of shelter, food, clothing, medical treatment and care of the women in distress and who are without any social and economic support.

• To provide them with legal aid and guidance to enable them to take steps for their readjustment in family/society.

• To enable them to start their life afresh with dignity and conviction.

• The nine pillars of 'Digital India' are Broadband Highways; Universal Access to Mobile Connectivity; Public Internet Access Programme; e-Governance: Reforming Government through Technology: e-Kranti - Electronic Delivery of Services: Information for All; Electronics Manufacturing; IT for Jobs and Early Harvest Programmes.

• She is the recipient of Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna and Padma Shri.

• She was also honoured with Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award in India, in January 2020.

• Its aim was to minimize the adverse effect of desert and control desertification by the restoration of natural resources to achieve ecological balance in long run.

• Jokha Alharthi, the first female Omani novelist to be translated into English, is the first author from the Arabian Gulf to win the prize.

• It was extended to an additional 130 districts with effect from April 1, 2007.

• Later, the remaining 285 districts were covered from April 1,2008.

• The National Rural Employment Guarantee (Amendment) Act, 2009 renamed NREGA as MGNREGA.

• It includes a fine and a jail term of up to 18 months for anyone affecting the quality of water, and a 0.5% cess on all construction work to fund development of water infrastructure.
